Apartment 3 at Hermann Hof is on the raised first floor and measures around 50 m², sleeping up to three people. It has a living room with kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom and a large balcony facing the woods.
What it’s like
The balcony faces the woods: trees a few metres away, and the sound they make in the wind. In summer this is the cool side of the house, because the light arrives filtered.
Inside, the layout is built for three people with nothing wasted. The living room holds the sofa and the kitchenette together, so whoever is cooking stays in company. The bedroom is separate and the bathroom has a shower.
The raised first floor is half a flight of stairs, barely more than the ground floor.

For anyone who sleeps badly in the heat. The balcony over the woods keeps this apartment cooler — in August, in this valley, that is a real advantage.
For anyone after quiet. On this side there is no road and no passing traffic: only the woods climbing towards Mount Cislon.
For reading on the balcony. Shade through much of the afternoon, without closing the shutters.
From the balcony the woods begin a few metres away, and in summer you feel it.
